Kenneth Janda Ph.D.
Indiana University
Payson S. Wild Professor of Political Science
American politics, comparative politics, and political
parties. He has authored, co-authored, or edited ten
books, including Political Parties: A Cross-National
Survey, a comparative study of 158 parties in 53
countries. He is co-editor of the international journal,
Party
Politics, and co-author (with Jeffrey Berry and
Jerry Goldman) of The
Challenge of Democracy: Government in America,
now in its sixth edition. He is also interested in
applying computers to teaching and research, and has won
awards from EDUCOM and the American Political Science
Association for instructional software.
