Patricia Conley Ph.D.

Assistant Professor.
American Politics (presidency and elections) and
methodology. Her research interests include presidential
agenda setting, the impact of political campaigns, and
presidential-congressional relations. She is the author
of a forthcoming book on the plausibility of electoral
mandates in American politics (University of Chicago
Press). She has published on issues of distributive
justice as well as the influence of economic factors in
primaries and general elections.
